Homeschooling High School

There's a facebook group entitled, "It's Not That Hard to Homeschool High School", and for the home educator that's an ironic statement because within the homeschool community anyone knows that taking on the task of homeschooling through the high school years is just crazy, isn't it?

Well, no not exactly.

I can attest to the statement that it is not impossible nor is it that hard to educate your high school-aged homeschool student. What's required is faith, courage, and determination to be all in with your student as you navigate the muddy waters of advanced math, foreign language, SATs, future plans, and considerations for what lies beyond 12th grade.

Yes, it is scary but it is not impossible.

I will be cataloging topics that early on loomed over us like Goliaths, but after doing research we've been able to trample over them as they've presented themselves in my oldest daughter's homeschool journey thus far.

Building a 4-year Plan of Study
